Reading is one kind of encounter. This page is another.
What is offered here — the courses, the private consultations, the inner circle — is not for everyone. It is for those for whom the work is serious, and who understand that serious work takes time, commitment, and a willingness to be genuinely changed by it.
Each path begins with a written enquiry. This allows Sarassin to understand what you are carrying, where you are in your journey, and whether the work offered is genuinely what you need.
Use the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. Describe where you are, what draws you here, and what you are seeking. There is no wrong answer — only honest ones.
Sarassin or a trusted steward will read your enquiry and respond directly. If the work seems well-matched, the details — timing, format, and investment — will be shared at that point.
Once the fit is confirmed, you receive everything needed to begin. Each path proceeds at a pace suited to the work itself — not to a schedule, not to a platform's algorithm.
For those who sense that something has already shifted — and are looking for a framework that honours the shift rather than pathologising it.
Threshold names the ache that underlies ordinary life. It teaches you to read the signals you have been ignoring, to sit with your own company without flinching, and to understand your longing not as a wound but as a compass. The course is built on the Neoplatonic understanding that the soul's restlessness is the memory of its own origin — rendered in plain language, without jargon, without doctrine.
Each of the five modules arrives as a transmission — Sarassin's voice, 15–20 minutes — followed by a single daily practice, a guided journal prompt, and one real-world integration task. The course moves at your pace, not a deadline.
For those who have crossed the first threshold and are ready for the map.
This course gives the student a working understanding of the Neoplatonic cosmology — the three hypostases, the nature of emanation, the soul's constitution — rendered entirely in experiential language. Not philosophy as argument. Philosophy as the terrain you have been navigating without a name for it.
You will learn why beauty is a compass and not merely an aesthetic experience. Why longing is sacred. How you are living on three levels simultaneously — and what that means for the decisions you make, the relationships you enter, the work you do in the world.
This is the advanced work. The student arrives here having completed the first two courses — with the map in hand and the territory partly navigated. What remains is the return.
The Inner Sanctum is built around the Neoplatonic concept of epistrophē — the soul's active turning back toward its source. The discipline of attention. The practice of becoming what you behold. The integration of contemplation into the texture of an ordinary life, so that the mystical and the mundane are no longer two different registers but one continuous experience.
This course is not offered to everyone who completes Courses I and II. An invitation is extended when the work to date suggests genuine readiness. This is not gatekeeping. It is care.
A private consultation with Sarassin is not a coaching session. It is not therapy. It is not a reading in the popular sense of that word.
It is a direct, one-to-one engagement with someone who has spent more than five decades navigating the unseen world with rigour, honesty, and practical precision. What is offered is clarity — not comfort. The ability to perceive what is actually present in a situation, and to name it accurately, without the distortions of projection, hope, or social courtesy.
Sessions are one hour. A written questionnaire precedes every session — not as bureaucracy, but because the quality of your preparation determines the quality of what is possible in the hour itself. Availability is deliberately limited. Sarassin accepts a small number of consultations per month and no more.
For those who do not wish to engage once and move on — but to remain in sustained contact with this work, and with others who take it seriously.
The Inner Circle is a private monthly gathering: a written transmission from Sarassin on a theme drawn from the Neoplatonic tradition, a live group session (voice-only, maintaining the faceless brand) in which the transmission is worked through together, and access to a private community space where ongoing questions and observations are shared.
Membership is not open to all who apply. It is extended to those who have demonstrated — through the courses, the memoirs, or a private consultation — a genuine commitment to the interior life. The circle remains small deliberately. Depth is the point, not scale.
"The real work is quiet, steady, and cumulative. It always has been. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something." — Between Two Worlds, Chapter VI
Everything offered on this page proceeds from a single conviction: that genuine spiritual work is not a product, and the people who need it most are rarely served by the urgency and spectacle of the marketplace.
No countdown timers. No enrolment bonuses. No artificial scarcity. What is scarce here — Sarassin's time, the quality of genuine attention, a community small enough to be real — is scarce because that is what it is. The work determines the conditions. Not the other way around.
